Google TV vs Android TV

Google TV is a launcher on top of Android TV: Chromecast with Google TV (4K / HD), many 2022+ boxes, and some Xiaomi Sticks. DgnStream installs on both; the player is the same. For classic Android TV boxes see the Android TV page.

Chromecast setup

1. Open Play Store with the remote and search DgnStream, or sideload the official APK.
2. Sign in. No account? Register on the phone, then pair on the TV.
3. Add an Xtream panel or M3U list. Channels group under the remote.

What cannot install?

Legacy Chromecast dongles (no Google TV OS) cannot run apps. LG webOS and Samsung Tizen are not supported.
